Located at one of Nebraska’s most scenic locations, Wilderness Ridge, the Leprechaun Chase 10k is a St. Patty’s Day run with a twist, where ladies get a head start and the guys chase them.
Register now for this Midwest St. Patty’s Day Run, limited to the first 400 entrants.
The Chase
Starting in the first wave the ladies will have 5 ½ minute head start before the guys “chaser wave” begins. The lasses and lads run through a scenic 10k course passing lakes, boulders, and trees that resembles Colorado more than Nebraska. If a lass crosses the finish line first all of the ladies get a free drink at the after party, but if a guy wins all of the lads get a free drink at the after party.
Green Beer After Party and Award Ceremony
Just a few steps away from the finish line, inside the Lodge at Wilderness Ridge, will be the after party with plenty of green beer. Here the winning wave will relish in their free drink and the losing side will have to dream of next year. Overall winners and age group winners will also be recognized for fleet feet.
Best Dressed Lasses and Lads
Everyone is encouraged to wear green the day of the race, or as the age-old tradition goes you may just get pinched. In addition to wearing green, St. Patty themed attire is strongly encouraged and the best dressed will be recognized and rewarded at the green beer after party.
