After Party

Just steps away from the finish line the green beer after party will be held inside the Durham Restoration Air Hanger at the Strategic Air and SpaceMuseum.  This unique location can hold up to 6 air craft’s and several will remain inside the hanger for the party.  This is a fantastic place to enjoy post run snacks and beverages while cheering on our fellow runners to the finish line.

Here the winning wave will cherish in their free drink and the losing side will have to dream of next year.  Overall winners and age group winners will also be recognized for fast feet.

At the after party participants can enjoy water and snacks at no additional charge.  Green beer, other alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.

Free Beer

A free drink will go to either all lads or lasses depending on the first runner to cross the finish line.  If a lass wins, all of the ladies get a free drink at the after party, but if a lad wins all of the guys get a free drink at the after party.

Free Massages

Free massages will be provided on a first come first serve basis.

Awards

Running Awards will be given out to the top 3 lads and lasses and then the top 3 age group winners at the after party.

Age Groups (Lads and Lasses) 19 & under, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 & Up

Awards/Prizes: First Person to Cross Line Gets Extra: $100

Top 3 Lads and Top 3 Lasses: $100, $75, $50 Gift Certificate

Awards to the Top 3 Age Group (Lads and Lasses)

Best Dressed Awards: Top 3 best dressed lads and lasses will win a $25, $15, $10 Gift Certificate.  Best Dressed will be voted on by round of applause on stage at the after party.
